My path to becoming a psychotherapist began at 14 years old when, beginning my own trauma healing journey, I attended my own therapy for the first time and knew immediately on a weirdly deep level that I had found my calling. I spent my adolescence in a number of therapeutic communities that totally saved my life and also provided me with my first experiences of healing in community and supporting others through challenging periods of growth. I have always felt totally lit up by the process of self-exploration, whether it be my own or guiding others through theirs.

I have spent much of my life since then in profound exploration of healing - both through my own transformative journey and my specialized education as a trauma therapist. Beginning my professional career at 19 in inpatient substance abuse treatment, I was immersed in supporting clients whose unresolved trauma manifested in life-threatening ways. This intensive early work with trauma became foundational to my career. After completing my Master's in Holistic Counseling Psychology, I transitioned into traditional psychotherapy to focus on addressing the root causes of trauma through longer-term, deeper healing work.

As my practice developed, my personal recovery converged with what I witnessed in my practice - an overwhelming number of clients presenting with dissociative symptoms and attachment wounds. This alignment naturally evolved into my specialization in treating these complex conditions.

My approach bridges clinical expertise with spiritual wisdom, combining powerful healing traditions that have proven transformative both in my own recovery and in supporting countless clients through theirs. I continue to be inspired by the profound capacity for healing that exists within each of us when given the right support and understanding.

Some of my favorite things are spending time in the sun and water, seeking out new experiences, connecting with others through laughter and conversation, and finding exciting ways to learn and grow.
